Personality refers to an individual’s characteristics-style, behavior, mindset, attitude, his own unique way to perceive things and seeing the world. Genetic factors, family background, varied culture, environment, current situations play an imperative role in shaping one’s personality. The way you behave with others reflects your personality. An individual with a pleasing personality is always appreciated and respected by all.

A person should speak really well to make a mark of his/her own. Remember, no one would take you seriously if you do not master the art of expressing yourself clearly and in the most convincing manner.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Dr. Narpat Singh was born in the year of 1978 at Bagar District in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. He did B.Sc (Hons) Ag. & M.Sc. Ag. in Extension Education from S.K.N. agriculture college jobner, Jaipur, Rajasthan. He obtained Ph.D in Extension Education from MPUAT, Udaipur for which he was awarded UGC’s prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Fellowship, Young scientist award and excellence in teaching. He has published five scholarly books in addition to 20-research paper in journals of national and international repute. At Present Dr. Singh is serving as Research Associate at ICAR-Directorate of Rapeseed-Mustard Research, Bharatpur, Rajasthan.

Dr. Ashok Kumar Sharma did his B.Sc. (Ag.) from SKN College of Agriculture, Jobner, Jaipur and M. Sc. (Extension Education) and Ph.D (Extension Education) from Rajasthan College of Agriculture, Udaipur (Rajasthan). Presently, he is working as Pr. Scientist (Extension Education) at ICAR-Directorate of Rapeseed-Mustard Research, Bharatpur, Rajasthan. His research and extension specialization includes adoption diffusion process, agriculture communication, Training process, extension management, development of extension tools for study of behavioural aspects of farmers and extension personnel. He organized more than 100 training programmes for farmers and extension personnel of the country. He identified yield gap and constraints in adoption of scientific technology of rapeseed-mustard in different states.  He is working for popularization of scientific production and protection technology among the farmers of rapeseed-mustard growing states. He has developed “School on AIR programme”, Voice based E-learning programme, Training modules for different stakeholders and other extension tools. He is National Coordinator of FLDs on Rapeseed-Mustard. Dr. Sharma has published more than 30 research papers in national and international journals. He has presented 25 papers in National and International conferences.  He has been editor of NAAS rated journals, Indian Journal of Extension Education, Rajasthan Journal of Extension Education, Indian Research Journal of Extension Education and Journal of Oilseed Brassica. Several Govt. organizations / Societies / NGOs/etc have honoured him.

Prof. L.L. Somani retired from the post of Director Resident Instructions & Dean, Post-Graduate Studies (MPUAT) Udaipur in 2005.
