ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Dr. Dashrath Bhati is Post Doctoral Fellow (Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Post Doctoral Fellowship in Humanities and Social Sciences) at GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology. She has actively participated in workshop on “Agribusiness – A Tool for the Empowerment of Rural Women” organized by MASHAV, Israel. She has more than 5 years of teaching and research experience. At national level she has been the part in evaluate of Mid Day Meal Scheme. She was recipient of different awards and authored 22 research papers in journals of National and International repute.

Dr. Rita Singh Raghuvanshi is Professor and former Dean, College of Home Science, GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. She has got teaching experience of more than 35 years and have guided several M.Sc. and Ph.D students. At national level she has been mission leader of Mid Day Meal Scheme and member of 12th Five Year Plan on nutrition. She has published several textbooks and more than 125 research paper to her credit. She is recipient of Dr. Rajammal P. Devadas Memorial Award, Nutrition Society of India, National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad.
