ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Dr. Prakash Panwar is presently serving in Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, Rajasthan as Professor in Department of Extension Education, College of Agriculture, Bhilwara. She did her B.Sc. in Home Science and M.Sc. in Home Science (Extension Education) from Rajasthan Agriculture University, Bikaner. She started her professional career as Training Associate in the year 1995 and joined MPUAT, Udaipur (Earlier RAU, Bikaner) in the year 1996 as Assistant Professor (Training Associate) in Krishi Vigyan Kendra.
She obtained Doctor of Philosophy degree in Home Science Extension and Communication Management in the year 2004 from Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur. She has 24 years of experience in extension & teaching and has published 17 research papers, 23 technical material & 15 popular articles. She has also published seven success stories of farm women empowered through KVK’s. She is life member of four Professional Societies of Extension Education and received seven professional awards of State and National repute.
Prof. L.L. Somani retired from the post of Director Resident Instructions & Dean, Post-Graduate Studies (MPUAT) Udaipur in 2005.
