ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Ms. Kriti Sharma is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Soil Science at, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology , Udaipur, Rajasthan. She   completed her M.Sc. in Soil Science from Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, Rajasthan. With securing University Gold Medal (2022) for securing first position. She awarded DST-INSPIRE Fellowship (2023) by Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India for her ongoing Ph.D. research program. She received   Zonal Award (West Zone-2023) from Indian Society of Soil Science, New Delhi at Indian Institute of soil Science, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh for Best M.Sc. (Ag.) Dissertation. She received Appreciation award from Hon’able Vice Chancellor, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology  onIndependence day 2023 for her exemplary performance. She has actively participated in more than 10 International and National conferences and training programs, where she has shared her insights and gained exposure to diverse perspectives in soil science. She has authored more than 13 research papers published in renowned national and international journals.

Dr. R. H. Meena, currently working as a Professor in the Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry at Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur. With over 18 years of invaluable experience, presently holding position of Assistant Dean Student Welfare (ADSW), Professor IFFCO Chair, Incharge, Technical Celland member of the Academic Council at RCA, MPUAT, Udaipur. He served as Head of the Department, Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, MPUAT, Udaipur during 2018 t0 2021.He guided 21 students for award of their PG and Ph.D. degrees. He has published 105 Research Paper in reputed in International and National Journals,05 book chapters,28 Research abstract,48 popular articles and developed 15 practical manuals for the undergraduate and postgraduate students. Throughout his academic and professional career, he won various awards, such as the Best Teacher Award, Young Scientist Award and numerous appreciation awards.

Dr. L.L. Somani, Retired Director Resident Instructions, MPUAT, Udaipur has many papers published in national and International Journals/Symposia, etc. and many number of books to his credit in different disciplines of Agriculture. He held different position in MPUAT and has spreaded highly innovative ideas and programmes for the development of Agriculture.
