ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Dr. G. L. Meena is currently Assistant Professor in Department of Agricultural Economics & Management, Rajasthan College of Agriculture, MPUAT, Udaipur, Rajasthan. He obtained his B.Sc. (Ag.) Degree from RAU, Bikaner, M.Sc. (Ag.) Agricultural Economics from MPUAT, Udaipur and Ph.D. Dairy Economics from NDRI, Karnal (Haryana). He was recipients of RGN Fellowship during his doctoral programme. He has 9 years experience of teaching of Under Graduate and Post Graduate students of agricultural economics. His field of specialization is dairy economics. He has to his credit 26 research papers, 2 books and 5 chapters in other books. He has completed three research projects in different capacities.

Dr. S.S. Burark is currently Professor and Head in Department of Agricultural Economics & Management, Rajasthan College of Agriculture, MPUAT, Udaipur, Rajasthan. His field of specialization is agricultural marketing. He has 32 years experience of teaching of Under Graduate and Post Graduate students. He had been the visiting associate professor to teach masters, level course at AIT, Bangkok. He has to credit 55 research papers, 15 popular articles, 5 chapters in other books and worked as Principal Investigator in three projects including Cost of Cultivation Studies, GoI, MoA, New Delhi and World Bank project on market intelligence..

Dr. D. C. Pant was Professor and Head, Department of Agricultural Economics and Management and Nodal Officer of MBA (Agri business) programme in Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur. He has over 35 years experience of teaching, research and farmer’s education and supervising and conducting the research studies in the field of Agricultural economics and Agri business management

Dr. Rajesh Sharma is presently working as Director, Institute of Agri Business Management, SKRAU, Bikaner since March, 2011. He is graduated from Dayanand College, Ajmer, Post graduated in Agricultural Economics from GBPUA&T, Pant Nagar. He earned Doctorate from Rajasthan Agriculture University, Bikaner. He also earned MBA in Operation Management from IGNOU. He has 28 years experience of teaching and research. He is alumnus of IIM, Ahmadabad and did FDM. He is Principal Investigator of two projects namely Market Intelligence and Eco-Tourism sponsored by ICAR & NABARD, respectively.
